Why is the passion flower known as Krishna Kamal?

Passion Flower is one of my favorite herbs. It is used as a calming herb for anxiety, insomnia, seizures and has a euphoric effect. So what is Krishna Kamal?

The radial pattern of the Passion Flower is said to symbolize the Sudarshan Chakra of Lord Krishna. This is a spinning, celestial discus with 108 serrated edges.
